When you *think* you know what form to use for a story, then it's not the right one!
So, I was a couple pages into my short story when I realized a couple things: a) I still had a *load* of planning to do, because I really didn't know the MC, and b) it would *never* work as a short story. Novel it would become.
So back to the drawing board it was, where I slaved away for days and days on end. Then I realized the plot was completely unrealistic. I started all over again, this time with a plan for my planning. I have given myself three more weeks for planning, nine weeks for the actual writing bit, and four weeks for editing/revision. That means that by the time school starts again, I'll be finished! (hopefully)
Really, this is the most organzied and prepared I've ever been for a writing project!
...Now, back to that research, eh?

And my feature in your journal is awesome! You're going in mine!!!! <3 *watches*
